Top device, but IPsec with rsa keys doesn't work with other devices like CCR2004 or CCR1036. Maybe something wrong by using the hardware accelaration for IPSec on that device. Will wait for fixes in future updates.

Definitely the best router I’ve ever owned! It offers a wealth of features and capabilities, though it does require some technical knowledge to make the most of it. The learning curve can be steep at first, but the value it delivers for the price is outstanding. I’m very satisfied!

I bought this router to run Syncthing docker due to its ARM x64 CPU and 1GB RAM. This turned out to be tricky to properly configure, but has the advantage in that I can sync large folders between my phone, laptop, etc. without a subscription or the energy cost of running a PC / server. One thing that took me by surprise is its Wi-Fi performance. It completely covers our house on the 5GHz band alone, hitting over 50Mbps on speed tests in the weakest spots in the outer rooms that I could only achieve with our Tenda mesh kit up until now. Even with the mesh nodes, my phone usually drops to the 2.4GHz more than a room apart from a mesh node. If the Wi-Fi remains stable over the coming weeks, I plan using this as our main Wi-Fi network and doing away with the mesh. No other single router has been able to reliably cover our whole house with Wi-Fi until now on the 2.4GHz band and certainly not the 5GHz band. With OpenSpeedTest over Wi-Fi 6 standing near the router, it has no problem maxing out the Gigabit Ethernet port on my PC. On the 2.4GHz band it gets about 300Mbps up and down and drops to around 80Mbps in the weakest areas of the house. I also tested this router with the MikroTik LHG LTE18, which it can power over its PoE WAN port, so only requires a single power socket to power both.

Excellent modern access point, it replaced it for me hAPac^2.

It's great product. Sturdy built.

A++ on the hardware so far. C- for the software. ROS v7.5 introduced a certificate chain import bug. The only workaround (downgrading ROS to <7.5, import certificates, and upgrade ROS) is no longer available (device only runs v7.5+). This prevents me from using the router until the issue is fixed.

Fast speed, nice wifi cover.

The WiFi-6 on 5GHz still do not work more than 1 concrete wall. I am a little dissapointed for that. But the rest is good with version 7.x, and the containers that are there.

Good router.Had high expectations for wifi but it has a poorer performance compared to the isp provided wifi6 modem.

It was just one problem - to find admin password on label. )- in fact it's not a problem, it was written in quick start guide... But after loging on to the admin web site or app all needed settings already have done and easy customizable. Wifi connections with WPA3 looks like stable.

Positive: The best technology for small money. It has the new wifi 6 (specially the 5GHz is really fast), WPA3 encryption, one 2.5Gbit and four 1Gb Ports, a quad-core ARM CPU running at 1.8 GHz, USB 3.0 and two big external antennas. And the best running RouterOS with level-6 License included! Negative: the 2.4GHz Wifi is not that good, the case is bigger than the hap2 and it needs more electricity

Great product and very advanced features

Works very good. I have a 1 Gbps internet connection and, as expected, wired connection gives me full speed. I reached more than 800Mbps using WiFi 6 in the same room and more than 500Mps while being in a different room which is much more than I expected. And the WiFi connection is stable even in different rooms. You may want to adjust the angle of antennas to get a better signal. Very simple initial configuration and very powerful configuration options for advanced users. I highly recommend this WiFi router.

As a wired router this product is outstanding, as all wired mikrotik products are. However, the WiFi on this is a complete train-wreck. A single brick walls drops the WiFi signal from -50 dbi to -70 and speeds drop from 500 mbps to less then 100. I have no idea what kind of antennas this abomination has, but the WiFi coverage is pretty much the same as hAP AC Light I had before. Zero improvements for signal strength or connection stability observed. If you are looking for the good WiFi connectivity - looks elsewhere. If you need a good wired router with okay'ish WiFi - go ahead.

I have several mikrotik devices already so when my living room needed a new router it was an easy choice also I have already bought one for my son for his new house. I work in networks and I like the power and options and the constant firmware updates. While I don't use 100th of what these devices do I have always had to move on when reaching a limit of what other devices can't do. With Mikrotik I have never reached that point.

Best semi Professional Product for that price value. Not easy to use, only for professionals and ambitious people but very good Quality for long running
